Redefining performance
The HEATSTICK’s radical new design and Flameless Heating Technology (patented) has redefined performance for heating and disinfecting water by heating from the inside out, making the Heatstick totally immune to wind.
The HEATSTICK is an achievement in combining advanced technology, cutting edge features and functionality into one light-weight easy-to-use product. The HEATSTICK’s built-in pressure regulator automatically adjusts the gas flow for optimal heat output and fuel efficiency at all temperatures, elevations and fuel levels, requiring no adjustment by the user. Furthermore, the HEATSTICK automatically keeps the FUELSTICK (HEATGEAR’s gas canister) warm, so the HEATSTICK can perform at subzero temperatures.
To increase ease of use and safety, the built-in thermal valve automatically shuts off the gas flow when the water reaches approximately 90ºC (194ºF) or the HEATSTICK gets too hot. These are three very cutting edge features when the HEATSTICK is used on the move to reduce downtime for heating water.
HEATGEAR has raised the bar for safe heating and disinfection of water in the great outdoors. Not only are hot parts shielded. The Flameless Heating Technology also enables integration of the heat source and the water container so the HEATSTICK can be used on any surface without risk to the surface or spilling precious water if the HEATSTICK is knocked over when in use, reducing the risk of burns.
In terms of packability, the HEATSTICK system is truly unique in its versatility. The HEATSTICK only takes up approx. 0.1 litres (3,4 oz.) of space when in the water container, allowing it to double as a high-quality water bottle and a safe storage container for the HEATSTICK at the same time.
The water container is made of BPA-FREE Tritan Copolyester and fitted with a standard wide mouth thread (Ø63 mm) that fits most water filters and bottle accessories.
Propelling the HEATSTICK
The FUELSTICK is HEATGEAR’s patented light-weight and pocket-sized fuel delivery system, designed and developed to deliver vaporized gas in any position and to enhance usability and safety.
The Flameless Heating Technology and the FUELSTICK deliver superior performance under any conditions and produce no soot or other particles causing clogs.
The unique combination of the HEATSTICK’s ability to heat from the inside out, the FUELSTICK and the self-heating function of the FUELSTICK brings a new dimension to performance and efficiency. Not only is the FUELSTICK capable of working at subzero temperatures, it’s also capable of delivering every single gram (oz.) of gas in the canister without running cold or loosing pressure, which means less FUELSTICK’s to carry.
